Paul grew up not far from Wath, and is Yorkshire through and through.

He has been a chef for over 20 years working in some lovely pubs in the area, (the Tiger inn, the Bull at Broughton, Deanos Graze and Grill and the Fleece inn, Addingham) 

he strongly believes in championing local suppliers and using the best ingredients available.

Kathryn has recently stepped into the role of General Manager, bringing a wealth of experience from her previous positions in finance, sales, and logistics. Starting her career in hospitality at the age of 16, she has a strong foundation in the industry. With her vision for the pub, Kathryn is poised to usher it into a new exciting chapter.

Callum is our dedicated Sunday bartender and the guardian of our beer quality. He ensures that our lines are always pristine and the beer is fresh for your enjoyment. Come by and see him in action on Sundays!

Meet Sam, our awesome bartender! When she's not pouring  your favourite drink, she’s busy at home with her two girls. Sam loves chatting with locals and guests, so be sure to swing by and have a conversation with her next time you're here!

Meet Sarah, one of our dedicated bartenders! With a passion for keeping things lively, she takes charge of the bar in the evenings, ensuring everything flows seamlessly. When not pouring drinks, you can find her enjoying a glass of wine and good company with friends.

Meet Issy, she is currently balancing her studies with evening shifts at the pub. Starting as a server she is now training to become a bartender, honing her skills in cellar maintenance and the art of pulling the perfect pint. With her bubbly personality, Issy ensures that every guest feels right at home. We're excited to see her grow in this new role!

Meet Halle, our fantastic Sunday server! Her speed and extensive knowledge ensure that our beloved Sunday Roast is served hot and our guests leave with smiles. When she's not delighting diners, Halle is pursuing her passion as a hairdresser, setting the stage for a bright and promising future.

Meet Bess, one of our enthusiastic young servers! Juggling her studies with work after school and on weekends, she is both dedicated and eager to learn. With a warm smile, Bess brings a cheerful smile to every table she serves. We’re proud have her as part of our team!

Radek has been a vital part of our team alongside Paul for years. His loyalty and  dedication shine through in everything he does. From crafting delicious pizzas to showcasing his handyman skills, Radek contributes significantly to every aspect of the pub. 

Clover is a Labrador and Burmese Mountain Dog cross. She spends her time greeting guest s at the office door, eating scraps from the kitchen and enjoying scratches behind the ear. She may be coming up to her 14th birthday but she will still greet you with an enthusiastic tail wag.
